Meet the Speakers

Greg Aten: is a RSPA Elite Professional and currently the RSPA Midwest Executive Director, is a RSPA Midwest Past President, and a member of the RSPA Midwest Hall of Fame, 2012. Greg has been the Managing Director at the Chagrin Valley Athletic Club in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, for the past 25 years. Greg is a OTCA Past President and NEOTA Past President. Greg is RSPA certified in Tennis, Pickleball, Platform Tennis & Padel.

Greg has coached both Boys & Girls High School teams (42 seasons) and has over 600 career wins. His players have won 8 Team State Championships, 5 singles state titles (1 runner-up), 4 doubles state titles (4 runners-up). Greg received the National Federation of High School Coaches Sectional Coach of the Year honors in 2019. Greg’s HS Girls teams won consecutive Singles, Doubles & Team State championships 3 years in a row, which had never been done before in Ohio High School Tennis. Greg sits on the OTCA board currently as the RSPA liaison. Greg is a member of the Wilson National Advisory Staff.

Molly Card-Beckman: is a RSPA Elite Professional and currently teaching professional at the Indianapolis Racquet Club (IRC). Molly has 25 years of teaching experience and also serves as the Head Boy’s & Girl’s coach at Bishop Chatard High School. Molly was named 2024 State Coach of the Year by the Indiana High School Tennis Coach’s Association.

Molly was named the 2016 USPTA Midwest Pro of the Year. In College she was the Women’s Captain & #1 Singles and Doubles Player at the University of Southern Illinois-Carbondale (SIU) 1994-1998. Molly Competed at every level in Juniors, CITA, Midwest and National. Grew up playing in Terre Haute, Indiana. Ranked in the top 100 NCAA Division 1 (Singles), first ever player at SIU to achieve.

Molly has been recognized by the USTA Central Indiana for service and named the recipient of the “Rick Van Horn Service Award.”

Jorge Capestany: is one of only a few people worldwide who is a RSPA Master Professional and an International Master Professional with the PTR. He is a 6-time Michigan Pro of the Year, a 2-time Midwest Pro of the Year, and was inducted into the RSPA Midwest Hall of Fame in 2012.

Jorge has been named the National Pro of the Year by BOTH the PTR and the RSPA. He has coached hundreds of ranked juniors, including three national champions. He is an internationally recognized speaker and author. He is the founder of the Hope College Racquet Sports Management (RSM) program and works on developing the curriculum for the program.

Marti Capestany: Marti has been a certified tennis professional since 1985 with both the PTR & RSPA. Marti is a multiple winner of “Player of the Year” awards from the USTA and RSPA.

She is also certified as a Mental Toughness specialist through the Human Performance Institute and a Certified Tennis Performance Trainer through the International Tennis Performance Association. Marti was inducted into the Coldwater (MI) HS Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.

Marti has coached numerous ranked players and was nationally ranked in the top 10 for the women’s 35’s division. Marti’s 5.0 USTA league team reached the national championships in Las Vegas in 2018.

Adam Ford: Is certified by both the RSPA & PTR. Adam is the Director of the Hope College Racquet Sports Management (RSM) program.

Prior to his current role, Ford was the head coach for both the men’s and women’s varsity tennis programs at Hope. As women’s head coach (2013–2016), he led the team to multiple Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) titles and NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. In 2015, he was also named head coach of the men’s tennis team, while continuing his women’s coaching duties. Under his leadership, Hope’s tennis teams won three MIAA championships and made four NCAA Division III appearances.

In 2011, he was named Michigan Tennis Professional of the Year by the Professional Tennis Registry. He was also included in Racquet Sports Industry magazine’s inaugural “30 Under 30” list, highlighting him as a rising star in the sport.

John Frausto: is a RSPA Elite Tennis Professional and dedicated racquet sports professional with over 25 years of experience as a certified RSPA Professional. He served on the RSPA Midwest Board for 17 years and is former RSPA Midwest Division President. He has presented at the Ohio, Wisconsin, and Indiana High School Coaches Conventions and has coached multiple high school state champions as well as athletes across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III. Recently he has broadened his knowledge in racquet sports by earning certifications in Pickleball, Platform and Padel.

As the founder of TopspinTennis.com, an online instructional platform since 1998, John shares his knowledge with the global tennis community, helping coaches and players refine and enhance their skills.

Dean Hollingworth: CSCS & PTR. Dean is a seasoned strength and conditioning specialist with over 20 years of experience in the field. As an international speaker and educator, Dean has worked with numerous elite WTA and ATP players, helping them achieve peak performance on and off the court.

Currently, he serves as the Director of High Performance at Club CDL in Montreal, where he oversees athlete development and program innovation. Dean’s expertise extends beyond tennis, having worked with athletes from diverse sports disciplines.

Passionate about advancing the game of tennis, Dean is an active member of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) educational team and was honored with the prestigious 2022 PTR Volunteer of the Year award. Dean combines a love for coaching, a commitment to excellence, and a deep understanding of high-performance training to inspire athletes to reach their full potential.

Harry Jadun: was named the ninth head men’s tennis coach at Michigan State on June 13, 2022. The 2024-25 season marks his third at the helm of his alma mater.

The 2023-24 season was full of firsts for the Spartans, including the most team wins in program history last season with 23 Victories for MSU and the Spartans were ranked in every poll during the season, reaching as high at No. 15. The milestones got rolling in the fall, when Max Sheldon and Ozan Baris won the ITA Fall National Championship for doubles on Nov. 5, the first national title in program history. A fall season like no other also included the most total ranked wins in a Fall season (20) and most over top-25 opponents (7), as well as the most ranked singles wins in a fall season in program history (15 between four players). In the Spring, the Spartans got off to their best start to a conference season in 56 years (6-0). MSU also posted its most Big Ten regular season wins in 56 years (7), including the first time with multiple 7-0 sweeps in Big Ten play since the ITA switched to the best-of-seven format in 1993, first time with multiple B1G full sweeps since 1967

Dr, Mark Randolph: began his tennis coaching career at Saline HS in 1994. Three years later, he started coaching the Greenhills Girls team. In 2006, he joined the Greenhills Boys coaching staff. Currently, he is preparing to coach his 54th season of Michigan HS tennis.

He was ranked as a junior in the state of Kentucky and in the Southern section. He competed in the National Indoor and was a 4-year letterman at Occidental College (qualifying for the Ojai Invitational three times).

As an Adult USTA player, he has represented SEMTA at the Western Sections a number of times at the Men’s Open, 5.0, and senior levels, including a trip to the 2023 Nationals representing the Western Section.

Aaron Rusnak: is a RSPA Elite Professional and director coach mentor innovator who’s 30-year career in tennis development has positioned him as one of the sports most respected and influential leaders. Aaron has built a legacy of excellence shaping one of the largest single site tennis programs in the country and then packing thousands of players and coaches at every level of the game. His leadership is rooted in the rare blend of elite playing experience, Forward thinking innovation, and a passion for mentorship that continues to elevate the global tennis landscape.

Currently serving as the director of private instruction at the prestigious Five Star tennis center, Aaron was recognized as a top 25 male professional by both Tennis channel and topspin magazine. In 2024, he broadened his global perspective by joining the Dominic Thiem coaching team in Australia as an apprentice, immersing himself in the inner circle of the ATP tour and contributing to highest levels of the professional tennis

Becky Schmidt: is the Head Volleyball Coach and Strategic Plan Designer at Hope College. Becky Schmidt ’99 has made her mark on Hope College volleyball as a student-athlete and as a head coach. In 21 seasons, Schmidt has guided the Flying Dutch to a 538-134 overall record (.801), a 245-34 mark against MIAA opponents (.878) and a 32-15 mark in NCAA Tournament matches (.681).

Schmidt’s collegiate coaching record, which includes three seasons (38-33) at the University of Redlands, Calif., is 576-167 (.775) that ranks her among the nation’s elite. In 2014, Schmidt guided the Flying Dutch to a national championship with a 6-0 run during the NCAA Division III Tournament. Hope matched a school record for wins in a single season with a 34-2 record.

in 2009, Schmidt coached the Flying Dutch to their first national semifinal appearance and a 34-4 overall record. In 2023, Schmidt led Hope to a national runner-up finish and was voted as the AVCA Region 7 Coach of the Year and the inaugural MIAA Volleyball Coach of the Year.

In 2024, Schmidt guided the Flying Dutch to a second consecutive sweep of MIAA regular-season and tournament titles and chosen as the MIAA Volleyball Coach of the Year.

Glenn William: is a RSPA Master professional, has had a long and legendary career in the Racquet Sports industry. Glenn is the former director of the Midland Community Tennis Center, where he developed numerous world-ranked players. Glenn founded Williamsport Management and served as chair of the Dow Corning Tennis Championships from 1989 to 1995. Glenn served as an Agent and business manager for nine women on the WTA tour.

From 1995 to 2019, Glenn served as the General Managing Partner for Midtown Athletic Club in Rochester, New York. The club grew revenues from $3 million to $15 million under Glenn’s leadership.

Glenn is currently an RSPA and PTR-certified pickleball coach and helped build a 12-court pickleball facility in a public park in Whitehall, Michigan. Glenn’s wide variety of experience and success make them an excellent speaker and coach educator.
